About Our Speaker

Chief Jason Houck has been in law enforcement for over 21 years. He began his career with the Sammamish Police Department and eventually worked for the departments in White Center, Skyway, Vashon and the City of Burien. During his tenure, he's been a detective, worked for the air unit as a TFO and pilot, worked in the Court Protection Unit and in Internal Investigations United (IIU), and lastly worked for Sound Transit before accepting the position of the City of Newcastle Police Chief. . You can learn more about Chief Houck here
