About our speaker
Mike Belcher is Senior Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships at T-Mobile. Mike oversees enterprise-wide business development, strategic partnerships, sports & entertainment marketing, and T-Mobile Tuesdays.
Mike joined T-Mobile in 2002 where he has held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Media and Sponsorships, Vice President of Advertising Services, Sr. Director of Integrated Marketing and Director of Sponsorships and Events. Belcher played a critical role in launching the T-Mobile brand in the United States and the successful transformation to the Un-carrier. Mike has negotiated several successful partnerships, including MLB, NBA, Live Nation, Drone Racing League, Netflix, Apple TV+, Paramount+, YouTube TV, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Shakira, Catherine Zeta Jones, Tony Hawk, the naming rights for T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, T-Mobile Park in Seattle, and Distrito T-Mobile in Puerto Rico. In 2016, he co-created T-Mobile Tuesdays, the company’s first-ever customer appreciation program, which has since won numerous awards for excellence in customer engagement and loyalty. Mike also championed the award-winning ad campaign “Who’s in Your Fave 5” with Charles Barkley and Dwayne Wade and played a lead role in the T-Mobile Sidekick becoming an iconic device in popular culture.
Prior to T-Mobile, he held corporate marketing positions at McDonald’s and The Walt Disney Company. Mike earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Lewis and Clark College where he played in the 1990 College Baseball World Series and is a member of the Lewis & Clark Athletic Hall of Fame. Mike serves on the Board of the Warsaw Sports Marketing Center at the University of Oregon. Mike lives in Newcastle, Washington with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid golfer and sports fan.
