December 11th Chamber Luncheon with Guest Speaker Andy Sharpe, Newcastle Family YMCA (1)

Topic:  It’s the holidays!  Join this special holiday luncheon as we roll up our sleeves, and help the Coal Creek Family YMCA wrap presents from their Giving Tree.  While we are wrapping, learn about the various programs the Y does in our area to support family’s, seniors, and children. If you are looking for a new volunteer activity in 2020, this is the perfect place to learn what is happening right in your neighborhood. 

About Our Speaker: Andy Sharpe has worked for the YMCA movement for almost 20 years. Starting as a Youth and Family Director in Burlington, North Carolina, Andy has supported after school programs, youth sports, family activities, and summer day camp. Andy has served as a Membership Director in North Carolina and when he moved to Seattle in 2014.  At the Northshore YMCA in Bothell, Andy was the Associate Executive Director for 3 years before transitioning over to the University Family YMCA where he has been the Branch Executive for the last two years.

Andy has a passion for staff development and innovation solutions that put members first.  In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, playing golf, and watching his beloved Tar Heels play college basketball. He looks forward to joining the Coal Creek Family YMCA leadership team and working alongside dedicated staff and volunteers to advance the mission of our One Y, One Team, One Mission vision.

The doors open at 11:00 am for networking, and the luncheon will conclude by 12:30 pm. We look forward to having you join us!
