About the event

Speaker: KJ Jackson, Youth and Family Counselor, Youth Eastside Services

Topic: Wellness During the Pandemic and Community Resources

KJ Jackson, MSW of Youth Eastside Services will share their experience and perspective on the landscape of mental health and overall wellness for young people in the age of COVID, wildfires, elections, and more. While stress is high in these unprecedented times, there is a path forward for our youth and community. KJ will share information, tools, and resources available to support area young people and those who care for them.

*Cost: Members: $10.00; Non-members: $15.00

*$5.00 of your registration fee will be reimbursed if you purchase your lunch from a local restaurant the day of the luncheon and submit an electronic copy of your receipt to Amy: treasurer@newcastle-chamber.org. 

Deadline: Registration closes on Tuesday, October 13th.

You will be sent login credentials a few hours prior to the luncheon start time.

About our Speaker

KJ Jackson, MSW is a co-occurring therapist with Youth Eastside Services. KJ graduated with a focus in Community Organizing with an emphasis on Children and Families from Hunter College in New York City in 2013 and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. In addition to running various groups and seeing individual clients and families at YES, KJ loves opportunities to present on various topics in the community.
