Leading from the Heart: a two-part seminar

The world requires of leadership characteristics today that are vastly different than what many learned in school or over the last several years in business. In this program we will highlight characteristics of inclusive, transformational leadership. This session is designed for all leaders at whatever stage you are in your career and will offer numerous opportunities for reflection and interaction through chat. Also, in honor of Women’s History Month and the Chamber’s commitment to the achievements of women in business and our communities, we will also be highlighting components specific to the needs of female leaders and ways to support them. 

This program is offered in two one-hour sections. 

• In part one, particular emphasis will be on creating a personal leadership vision and how to lead authentically, from the inside out.
• In part two, we will address how to show up and stand out as leaders to positively influence and impact others.

As a result of reflection questions posed during each of the sessions, participants will have an opportunity to create a personal action plan based on two to three “AHA"s (Authentic, Heart-centered, Actions) that they identify from our discussion. As an additional takeaway, participants will receive a handout with suggested resources for further development.

You need not attend both sessions to receive value from participating, though we encourage you to attend both to receive maximum benefit.

The cost to attend is $10 per registration; 100% of the registration fees collected will be donated to Dress for Success.
