About the event

Taryn has worked within the disability services field for almost ten years. She discovered her love for working with people with disabilities in 2010 when she worked with Thurston County Specialized recreation where she coordinated social and recreational programs and activities for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Taryn joined Northwest Center’s Employment Services division in 2012 and has served in several roles ranging from direct service to management. Taryn currently serves as the Director of Partnership Development where she works with Puget Sound Businesses to diversify their work forces and develop new tools to become more inclusive to workers with disabilities. Taryn is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at Seattle University where she combines her passion for workplace diversity and inclusion through her career and studies. In her limited free time, Taryn enjoys spending time outdoors through skiing, mountain biking, and gardening.
