SERVICES

The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce & Industry:

  •  assess and evaluates the needs of the local business community, especially regarding the need for services to small business at a reasonable cost.

  •  disseminates information that is useful to the business fraternity.

  •  extends business contacts locally, regionally and nationally and allows individual business people to share in the provincial and national business decision-making processes.

  •  upholds the market economy and private enterprise system.

  •  holds functions and special events, allowing members to network and learn about worthwhile and interesting topics.

    Other services include:

    Overseas trade through its import, export and foreign trade contacts.

    Seminars & workshops that deal with many issues of direct interest to business.

    Temporary importation of goods into foreign countries through the ATA Carnet System available from SACOB.

    Trade enquiries locally and International received regularly from SACOB

    Representation in Local Authority, Provincial and Central Government, Community involvement and through networking meetings.
