Gijima KZN business breakfast August 2006 was attended by 50 guests who were introduced to this initiative by the European Union to promote Economic Development in KwaZulu Natal.

Our Christmas lunch for 2005 was attended by nearly 100 guests. All enjoyed the entertainment provided by the La Gratitude kitchen band.

The Newcastle Children's Christmas Party in 2005 saw over 1500 children enjoying a day they will never forget.

The ABSA Women In Business function in 2004 was attended by numerous businesswomen in Newcastle.

The official opening of the New Checkers Shopping Centre in October 2004.

The Newcastle's Of The World Summit in 2004 was attended by more than 80 International delegates.

A friendship garden was opened by the 7 countries represented at the Summit.

The International Delegates had the privilege of having lunch with His Majesty The King at his palace.

Our region has received over R800 000.00 in computers as a result of the Summit. These have been distributed to disadvantaged schools in the region.

The ABSA Power Breakfast in 2004 attended by business owners & guests.

The Annual Chamber Business Golf day was well supported in 2004. Funds raised during this event are donated to the Annual Underprivelegded Kids Christmas Party, La Gratitude Home for the Aged, Crisis Centre & the SPCA amongst others.

The MTN Power Breakfast in 2004 was enjoyed by more than 150 business owners & guests.

One of the events that we are proudly associated with is the Newcastle Annual Underpriviledged Childrens Christmas Party where 2004 saw over 1200 children being hosted for a day they will never forget.

NCCI supports the Annual Underpriveledged Kids Christmas Party. A donation was made for the party in 2004.
